Alternative technologies to chlorination

(nanotechnology bags and rainwater harvesting) have been tested, proving effective to improve the quality of drinking water for Santa Velita, Bellavista indigenous communities.

indigenous communities in remote rural areas improved their access to drinking water, reducing their risk of acute diahorreal morbidity without need to rely on chlorination.
